The friction stir welding, FSW, is a solid state welding process.
This FSW junction method is one to have high quality and economical efficiency,
whose major features can be summarized as follows
- This is a solid state welding, preventing cracks(solidification cracks)
that can take place in fusion welding and resulting in almost no deformation
so as to be excellent in mechanical properties.
- This is a welding method without needing filler metals, forming welding
by friction with specimens.
- This is a eco-friendly method, generating no fume during welding and
no harmful light such as infrared rays, ultraviolet rays, etc.
